Flexible Adaptation
In the first days of 2026, Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Company – Yen Son Branch successfully shipped a consignment of more than 100,000 quilted jackets to markets including South Korea and Europe. To access these demanding markets, each product must meet stringent inspection requirements.
From the selection of raw materials to the production process, the company strictly adheres to technical procedures and quality standards set by international partners. Its products fully comply with certification requirements on origin, quality and occupational safety. Each shipment is closely monitored at every stage, with rigorous quality checks and labeling before leaving the factory and clearing customs.

Workers at Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Company – Yen Son Branch work overtime to meet export orders
Ms. Dang Hong Duyen, chairwoman of the Trade Union at Tuyen Quang LGG Garment Company – Yen Son Branch, said the company is mobilizing its entire workforce, organizing overtime shifts and launching production emulation campaigns among workshops to accelerate order fulfillment ahead of the Lunar New Year.
She said the company will ensure that new consignments are shipped immediately after the holiday, in line with commitments to partners.
At wood processing, garment and footwear factories, workers are currently putting in overtime, with machinery running continuously to meet final orders scheduled for delivery before the Lunar New Year. Many enterprises have stepped up technical standards, product designs and strict compliance with environmental and labor regulations in export markets - seen as a key factor in maintaining credibility and securing stable orders amid intensifying competition.
Mr. Tran Hai Anh, general director of Thai Hoang Construction and Trading JSC in Vinh Tuy Commune, said export orders for engineered wood flooring signed in late 2025 are concentrated on deliveries at the end of 2025 and early 2026 to markets including the United States and Cambodia.
He said many clients have requested shipments to be completed before the Lunar New Year, prompting the company to accelerate production to avoid disruptions to partners’ supply chains. By the end of January, the company expects to export around 2,000 cubic meters of flooring products.
At the same time, the firm has expanded market outreach to European countries. In January 2026, the company will commission a new kiln-drying system for raw materials, with an investment of nearly VND 900 million, to meet stricter standards in the year ahead.
Expanding Markets
According to the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, total import-export turnover of enterprises operating in the province and through local border gates in 2025 is estimated at USD 1.03 billion, up 86.44% year-on-year and reaching 135.5% of the annual plan. Key export items include various tea products, plywood and PP tarpaulin fabric.
Alongside traditional markets, many enterprises have proactively sought new partners and expanded exports to a range of potential markets, gradually diversifying destinations, mitigating risks and increasing added value.
Agricultural and forestry exports play an important role in the province’s economic growth. Signature products such as dried lotus seeds, bananas, tea, pomelos, guava tea, cassava starch, honey and male papaya flowers are now exported not only to the United Kingdom but also to markets including the United States, Japan, South Korea, the European Union, Brazil, Pakistan, China, India and Russia.
Mr. Le Huy Giang, director of My Lam Tea Joint Stock Company, said the firm exported more than 820 tonnes of green and black tea in 2025, with export value estimated at nearly USD 1.19 million, exceeding the annual target by more than 20%.
In 2026, he said, the company will seek new markets in Japan, China, India and Russia, while expanding green tea exports across Asia instead of focusing on semi-processed black tea for Central European markets. The company is also investing in new machinery to improve product quality, with the goal of increasing export value by 150% in 2026 compared with 2025.
Alongside business efforts, support from authorities has helped enterprises maintain confidence in production and exports. Import-export and customs clearance procedures are handled promptly, while trade promotion and market connectivity activities have been strengthened.
Mr. Luong Trung Kien, head of Tuyen Quang Customs, said the agency has streamlined administrative procedures and facilitated trade through electronic customs processing systems, including VNACCS/VCIS and VASSCM. He said the unit has promoted digitization of customs documents and automated processing to shorten clearance times, while providing information on trade remedies and safeguard measures in export markets to help enterprises proactively plan production and contract negotiations.
By accelerating production and ensuring export schedules - particularly for orders delivered ahead of the Lunar New Year - local enterprises have demonstrated strong adaptability and determination to maintain market presence, contributing to a stronger international position for the province’s export products.
