The meeting was attended by Mr. Lu Xinnin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Regional Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Government of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and Chairman of the Guangxi section of the Joint Working Committee. Also in attendance was Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong, Consul General of Vietnam in Nanning.
Representing Tuyen Quang province were Mr. Hoang Gia Long, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from various provincial departments and agencies.

In her remarks, Ms. Lu Xinin emphasized that the meeting serves as a vital platform to bolster economic cooperation, cultural and sports exchanges, and people-to-people diplomacy, while promoting the tradition of friendship between the nations. She also noted that the summit offers an opportunity for the provinces to collaborate in strategic sectors such as information technology, electronics, automotive industries, and agriculture, alongside science, education, and healthcare. Special focus will be placed on enhancing the competitiveness of these key industries.
Ms. Lu Xinin expressed her hope that the six localities would expand cooperation in cross-border e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), and facilitate seamless cross-border payments through commercial banks.
A key priority moving forward is to accelerate the upgrading of border gates and regional transport connectivity. This includes conducting research on new railway and road connections linking the provinces to streamline the flow of agricultural products and fruits through both direct and online channels. Furthermore, she called for enhanced collaboration in border management to ensure regional security. The provinces are also encouraged to share expertise in digital trade, logistics, and the application of AI in modern agriculture.
Vice Chairpersons from the participating Vietnamese localities delivered keynote presentations, outlining strategic cooperation initiatives. On behalf of Tuyen Quang, Vice Chairman Hoang Gia Long provided an overview of the province's recent collaboration with the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He noted that the partnership has maintained robust growth, delivering substantive outcomes across various sectors.

He proposed several key cooperation priorities for the future, emphasizing the need to materialize the common perceptions reached by the top leaders of both Parties and States. This specifically includes implementing the Joint Statement on deepening and elevating the Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership and building a Vietnam-China Community with a Shared Future.

Furthermore, he called for continued close coordination in border management and strict adherence to the three legal documents on the land border. Other proposed areas of cooperation include human resource development, cross-border tourism, and strengthening ties in agriculture, forestry, trade, investment, and technology. Notably, he urged for the opening of the Lung Lan – Longping border crossing/market at Milestone 504 and enhanced management of cross-border labor.

He expressed his confidence that cooperation between Vietnamese localities and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will be implemented in a synergistic and substantive manner. This partnership is expected to yield even greater achievements, further consolidating the enduring friendship and stability between the regions, while contributing to the broader Vietnam-China Comprehensive Strategic Cooperative Partnership.
