The Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway is in construction progress
Launched in 2023, the strategic regional link is approaching its final development stages after more than three years of intensive construction. The 77-kilometer section traversing Tuyen Quang Province has reached 74.13% of its build-contract value. Meanwhile, the 27.48-kilometer segment through Ha Giang Province stands at 99.3% completion.
By the end of August, major structural packages along the 27.48-kilometer section were 100% complete. Contractors are currently putting the finishing touches on traffic safety systems, which stand at 95% completion.
Alongside finalizing the two-lane alignment, construction teams are actively preparing subgrades and key infrastructure to accommodate a full four-lane expressway configuration.
From graded roadbeds taking shape to newly bridged spans, the outline of a modern four-lane arterial route is becoming increasingly defined. Once fully operational, the expressway will serve as a vital transport corridor, unlocking new development space for project-area localities and driving broader economic growth across Tuyen Quang Province.
